Hotel/Observation Tower

On Sunday I had created a two story hotel. This idea came from the old Main Street set, which had a hotel on it but it was small. Inside I have a reception desk, a information area, there is also a couple of seats around a coffee machine. I also found a tree to put inside the lobby.

I'll post some picutes of the hotel as soon as the camera gets downloaded again.

Also on Sunday I started to make an observation tower. The first design didn't come out very well, so I took it apart today and tried again. Well I still don't have a clue on how it should look. The way it's built at the moment is the layers keep going in a row all the way up. Towards the top I have 2 levels where a person can look out from.

I don't have any pictures of the tower just yet, but I'll take some before recreating it.

I need bricks

With all the projects I've been making lately my supply of bricks is quickly depleting. I don't have enough plates that I can use as roofs, so some of my structures are going to have an open feeling.

The lego catalog doesn't sell what I need. The only way I'll get some more bricks is if I buy a bucket at Wal-Mart which is cheaper than buying the stuff in the catalog.

When yard sale season comes around I just have to bite the bullet and pay what the person wants.

Next project/misc

I'm thinking for my next project it will be either a school or a town/city hall.

If there is anyone that is interested in how I made some of the projects I have posted, just leave a comment and I'll tell you.

old time movie theater

This is the eagle eye view of the whole inside of the theater.

Here is the main entrance to the theater.

This is the projector booth at the back of the theater. There is space for the door to open.

Here's a view of the movie screen. The screen is made of 6 blue glass window pieces.

Here's a view of the theater and the seats. You can see the two little enter & exit doors.

You can see the little soda fountain & the fan & the blue glass is where the movie posters would go.

Here you can see the cash register where you buy your tickets & your snacks.

Here are the cars I bought at the thrift store!

Apartment Building

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us This is my second completed project for the year. On the first level I have 3 apartments ( 1 meduim size and two small). Then on the top there is one large apartment with a patio.

The stairs are built open, so that people can walk underneath.

Project #2 - no name yet

I haven't decided what this project is yet? Currently I have 3 apartments on the first floor (2 small and one large). This morning before leaving for work I put the roof on so I can start building up the second level and making some stairs.

Parking Garage continued

This morning I did work on adding a couple of small items. I added a ticket dispenser and some traffic control lights. Now I just have to make a small cashier booth and add gates and I'll be done.

Parking Garage continued

Well this morning I did work on the ramps to access the upper levels. I think I might just be about done with this building. I just have to add two gates and a ticket dispenser on the inside.

I haven't thought of what my next building will be. I have ideas written down but just have to check on the amount of bricks I have left to use as roofs.

Parking Garage

I 'm in the process of trying to come up with a parking garage for my lego city. My design is almost complete, I'm still trying to figure out the placement of the ramps to access the upper levels. I'll be posting a picture of my design when it's all done.

me

Just learning how to add photos. This was taken of me on Christmas Day. No, it's not an earring, but a stupid useless present.
